Course AimThe course aims to provide candidates with practical and theoretical training to enable candidates to demonstrate a minimum level of competence as required by health & safety regulations. |
Who Should AttendThis course is designed for all persons who, having received a formal handover from a scaffold company, are charged with the task of inspecting tube and coupler or system based scaffolds. |
Content of CourseThe class room element of the course covers:-
There should be a scaffold structure in reasonable proximity for the candidates to inspect and comment upon. If the latter is not possible arrangements may be made to supply a location with a scaffold nearby. |
ObjectivesBy the end of the course, candidates should have the necessary knowledge to critically inspect a scaffold structure, and have the confidence to discuss any concerns with scaffolders who supply and erect it. |

Duration of CourseThe course lasts approximately 4 hours and is normally run at a location of your choice. There is a requirement for a room of sufficient size to show a PowerPoint display and comfortably seat the number of candidates attending |
