Course AimThe overall aim of the IOSH Managing Safely course is for candidates to acquire knowledge and practical skills to manage health and safety issues in their workplace. Who Should AttendThe IOSH Managing Safely course is designed for managers and supervisors, in any sector and any organisation, who are required to manage risk and resources within their organisation. The course is also suitable for directors and owners of smaller organisations who need to implement a safety management system appropriate for their organisation. ObjectivesBy the end of the course candidates will be able to:-
Content of CourseThe coursecomprises seven core modules delivered over 2 x 2 days.
Candidates must allocate sufficient time after the course for completing a workplace based assignment. Examination & Assessment InformationCandidates who attend and successfully complete both the practical and written assessments will be awarded the nationally recognised Managing Safely certificate issued by the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH). The certificate is valid for three years. The practical assessment must be completed in the delegate’s workplace and submitted within two weeks of completing the course. IOSH Managing safely courses are held in Sussex, Surrey and Kent. |
