The Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2007 requires a CDM Co-ordinator to be appointed for all “notifiable” projects. Our principal consultants have the experience and competence to offer this service.
As CDM Co-ordinator we will:-
- Advise and assist the client with his/her duties
- Notify HSE using the F10 Form
- Co-ordinate health and safety aspects of design work as required
- Facilitate good communication between client, designers and contractors
- Identify, collect and prepare a pre-construction information package
- Liaise with principal contractor regarding any ongoing design
- Prepare/update health and safety file
We specialise in acting as CDM Co-ordinator on local projects valued from £15K up to £3M. In order to provide a competitive quote we will list all the elements of the services being offered, with each element individually costed.
In situations where a Client has appointed a Principal Contractor who may not have the competence to prepare a suitable Construction Phase Plan (CPP), we could be appointed to act as both CDM Co-ordinator and Health & Safety Advisor to the Principal Contractor. This is a cost effective approach for the Client as it enables us to collect information for the project and prepare the CPP for the Principal Contractor without the need for a separate Pre-construction Information document.
